Spring Crime Watch meeting held

The North West Van Zandt Crime Watch meeting was held March 25 at the home of Joanna and Curtis White.
“This was a meet and greet meeting. Coffee and cookies were enjoyed by members and guests. Several new families welcomed to the group. These additions and more volunteers will help the crime watch patrol in the area,” said Crime Watch members.
VZC Sheriff Dale Corbett present during the meeting and updated the members on activity in the area and also answered questions.
VZC Commissioner Pct. 3 Keith Pearson gave the group updates on the plans for the roads and other issues in the county.
VZCSO Captain Tim Scharfenberg offered information on how to keep homes and property safe and also how to protect it.
