Canton Educational Foundation awards $18K

The Canton Educational Foundation marched to the beat of the Canton High School Band to deliver $18, 748 of grants to Canton ISD teachers April 7.
Members of Canton Educational Foundation, school and local officials and Canton Rotary Club presented awards to teachers across the campuses to inspire superior student achievement and opportunities
“It is our goal to strengthen the learning process through the development of innovative programs while building community support for our exemplary school district. We also want to inspire parents and community members to participate with the school system to provide opportunities for excellence in education,” said CEF board members.
The mission statement of the CEF is to “partner with the community and the district, to provide resources to enrich teaching, inspire learning and maximize innovative opportunities for all students in CISD.”
