Van Zandt County 4-H competes at district level

Van Zandt County 4-H members top left Mackenzie Krailo, Maddison Alexander and front row Addison Alexander.

 

The Van Zandt County 4-H members recently traveled to North Central Texas College in Gainesville where they competed at the District 4  4-H Roundup. 

Members competed in numerous events beginning with the District Food Show on Friday where Addison Alexander took fourth place in the junior protein class; Isabelle Williams earned second place in the junior fruits and vegetables class; and Kali Wilhelm-Trent placed second in the intermediate dairy class.

Competing in the educational presentations was Joy Tinney in the Junior Division Companion Animal category and earning first place, and advancing to the State 4-H Roundup in senior beef division was Chloe Dixon. 

Members competed in Fashion Storyboard with  junior members Mallory Alexander earning first in pet clothing and Addison Alexander earning a fifth place in wearable fashion.
