Services for Williard Neille McWilliams, 87, of Canton, were held Saturday, May 6, 2017, at Eubank Funeral Home with Bro. Steve Glosup officiating.
Interment followed at Cool Springs Cemetery. Mr. McWilliams passed away April 28, 2017, in Canton.

He was born August 18, 1929, in Martins Mill to Irby McWilliams and Ione Simmons. He grew up in Van Zandt County and attended school at Lonestar and Canton. He married Dorothy Marie Huddle May 12, 1950, and they spent the last 66 years together. He had a passion for farming, gardening and raising cattle. He served as a Deacon in the Baptist Church since the age of 21 and taught Sunday school for several years.

He is preceded in death by his parents; and his wife, Dorothy.

Survivors include his sons, David McWilliams and Mark and Suzie McWilliams; daughters, Elaine Loyd and Joyce and Gary Martin; 10 grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and sister, Betty and Scotty Broyles.
