Service above Self Rotarians donate $6,000

The effort was made possible through donations from the Texarkana Oaklawn Rotary Club, Mt Pleasant Rotary Club, Ennis Rotary Club, Chili’s in Forney and the Canton Rotary Club.
Rotary was founded on the belief of “Service above Self.” During the days following the April 29 tornadoes and storms, Rotary Clubs, and businesses from around the Northeast Texas area stepped up and demonstrated that spirit by donating to the relief fund.
The donation will be used to help those impacted by the April 29 tornadoes, said Rotary officials.
