Jeffery LaFoy 1959-2018

Jeffery Keith LaFoy, 59, passed away Wednesday, May 2, 2018, at St. Luke’s Hospital in Cedar Rapids, Iowa.

He was born to Carl and Kay Hernon LaFoy on April 30, 1959, in Hobbs, New Mexico. The family later moved to Mesquite.

He attended school in Mesquite until the family moved to Edgewood.  He graduated from Edgewood High School in 1977. He earned a Bachelor of Science Degree in Health Science in 1995.

He is survived by his parents, Carl and Kay LaFoy of Edgewood; his wife, Debora (Bitner) LaFoy; his children, Vanessa LaFoy and grandson Jeffery, Jessica Colgrove (Mike) and grandchildren Alexia, Autumn, Makayla and Aidan of Mesquite; Dustin Fadiga (Brandi) and grandchildren, Carter, Mackenzie Brady and Cade of Cedar Falls, Iowa; two brothers, Joel Lafoy of Masa, Az. and Cory LaFoy (Toni) of Rowlett; Inlaws, Don and Clara Lea Bitner of Centerville, Iowa; uncle, Charles and Quanah LaFoy of Denison. Services will be held later in Centerville, Iowa.
