Ernest Cunningham 1957-2018

A memorial service for Ernest Cunningham, 60, of Edgewood, was held Wednesday, May 23, 2018, at the Eubank Funeral Home in Canton. 

He passed away at his home on May 18, 2018. He was born Oct. 1, 1957 to George Washington and Nora Francine Lamb Cunningham.  

He was a lifelong resident of Edgewood and a Baptist by faith. He owned his own construction business for many years.

He enjoyed gardening, spending time with his grandchildren, telling jokes, and pulling pranks.

He is preceded in death by his parents and two sisters, Doris Ware and Sherry Ann Cunnigham.

He is survived by his two daughters, Susan and husband, Randall Gifford, of Wiesbaden, Germany and Tiffany and husband, Jacob Phillips, of Edgewood; wife, Jeanie Cunningham of Edgewood; five grandchildren, Kaylee Golightly, Dylan Phillips, Jase Phillips, Natalie Gifford and Garrett Gifford; two brothers, Butch and Kevin Cunningham; three sisters, Carolyn Eubank, Mary Ruth Scryba and Anita Rubio; and numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives.
