Freda Morphis 1945-2018

Services for Freda Morphis, 73, of Canton, were held Tuesday, Aug. 21, 2018, at the Eubank Funeral Home in Canton with Jim Leach officiating. Interment was in High Cemetery.

She passed away Aug. 19, 2018 in Canton. She was born Feb. 8, 1945, in Disney, KY to Clark Hall and Sarah E. Presley. 

She was a Baptist by faith and a nurses aid for over 20 years. She loved spending time with her children and grandchildren, sewing, feeding wild birds, and working with the children in the nursery of First United Methodist Church in Canton.

She loved to paint but never thought she was very good. She is preceded in death by her parents; two brothers, Tommy and Johnny; and her husband, John Wayne Morphis. 

She is survived by her two sons and their wives, Bruce and Heather Morphis of Canton and John Eric and Beth Morphis of Terrell; sister, Ann and Howard Wages of Mansfield; three grandchildren, Halina and Masen Williams, Braden Morphis and Katrina Morphis; and numerous other family and friends.

Pallbearers were Bruce Morphis, John Eric Morphis, Gary Brown, and David Pratt.
