Holly Everitt 1961-2018

Services for Holly Janice Everitt, 57, of Canton were held Saturday Aug. 18, 2018 at Canton Church of Christ. Interment was at Holly Springs Cemetery.

She passed away peacefully in her home after a long battle with cancer on Aug. 15, 2018 in Canton.

She was born on March 31, 1961 in Dallas to Olen “Buck” Odom and Shirley Whitton.

She was a member of the Church of Christ. She loved playing with her grandchildren and sitting on her porch drinking coffee.

She spent over 30 years in computer programing. She adopted all her kids’ friends as her own and was often referred to as Mama Holly or Mama Everitt. She was a friend to everyone she met.

She is preceded in death by her mother, Shirley Whitton Odom and her niece, Rennie Holloway.

She is survived by her husband, Kenny Everitt; son, Brian Everitt and wife, Jennifer; daughter, Brandi Everitt; grandchildren, Landon Broyles, Addilyn Everitt and Ryleigh Everitt; sister, Belinda Odom; father, Olen Ray “Buck” Odom and wife Ann (all of Canton); and a host of friends and family.
