Billy Dean Miller 1930-2018

Funeral Services for Billy Dean Miller of Chandler were held Saturday, Sept. 15, 2018, at the Chandler Memorial Funeral Home Chapel in Chandler with Rev. Bob Logan officiating.     

He passed away on Sept. 15, 2018, in Tyler.

He was born on Jan. 23, 1930, in Ben Wheeler to the late Reagan and Beulah Gray Miller. He retired from the United States Air Force as Master Sergeant after 24 years of service, serving in Korea, Vietnam, and the Occupation of Japan. After retiring from the military, he became an independent contractor in the AC industry.

He was preceded in death by his parents; his first wife, Mabel Miller, in September of 1976, and his second wife, Doris Miller, in May 2017.

He is survived by his sons, Billy Dean Miller, Jr. and wife, Clair, of Chandler, Kyle Miller and his wife, Jana, of San Antonio; stepdaughters, Sophia Pierce and husband, David, of Tyler, Suzy Trejo and husband, Tony, of Lindale; sister, Betty Jean Brantley of Edom; grandchildren, Rachel Mabel Miller, Jayson Michael Miller, Emily G. Miller, Ross A. Miller, Luke B. Miller, Sarah E. Miller, Jenica Tomdale and husband, Chris, Lindsey G. Steffy and husband, Sean, and three great-grandchildren.

Funeral arrangements were entrusted to the Chandler Memorial Funeral Home.
