Pamela Bruce-Coffey 1956-2018
Services for Pamela Renee Bruce-Coffey will be held at 2 p.m. on Thursday, Sept. 20, 2018, at Hilliard Funeral Home with Chaplain Kenneth Summerfield officiating. Visitation will start at 1 p.m. prior to the service.
A graveside service will be held at 2 p.m. on Saturday, Sept. 22, 2018, at The Great House Cemetery in Temple.
She was born Oct. 11, 1956 in Temple. She was a resident of Tyler, formerly living in Van. She worked as a dispatcher for Door Control in Ben Wheeler for over 20 years.
She was a member of Taylors Valley Church in Temple. She enjoyed dancing, watching those Cowboys and being a loving mother and Noni to her girls.
She passed away at the age of 61 on Sept. 15, 2018, at her home. She was preceded in death by her mother, Barbara Stewart Bruce; grandparents, James Irvin and Mabel Bruce and Dociabelle and Allen Stewart; uncles, Ed Bruce and Joe Bruce; and aunt, Mabel Hill.
Survivors include her two daughters, Lindsey Coffey and wife, Linsey Hill, and Katherine Coffey, all of Tyler; father and step-mother, Rogers and Angela Bruce of Temple; brother, Bubba Bruce of Temple; granddaughter, Abra Garrard of Tyler; aunt, Edith "Sissy" Curry of Temple; and many nieces, nephews and cousins.
If desired, memorials may be made to Heart to Heart Hospice, Taylors Valley Church, or Scottish Rite Hospital to help contribute for Door Control Services yearly fundraiser.
