Beverly Thackerson 1930-2018

Visitation for Beverly Joana (Tolar) Thackerson was held Friday Sept. 28, 2018, at Harrell Memorial Chapel. Her funeral service was Saturday, Sept. 29, 2018, at Harrell Memorial Chapel. In lieu of flowers, memorials in her honor can be made to the Breast Cancer Foundation.
She entered the gates of Heaven on Sept. 24, 2018. She was born in Ennis on Aug. 5, 1930, to her father Harry Tolar, and her mother, Vera E. Money. She was married to Elmer B. "Pete" Tackerson in Irving on Oct. 15, 1982. She was a Baptist. She was self-employed.
Preceding her in death was her father, Harry Tolar, and mother, Vera E Money; her son, Rady Kelly;  her daughter, Carla; her brother, Sonny Tolar; and her great-granddaughter, Avery Dunn.
Left behind to cherish her memory are her husband, Elmer B. "Pete" Thackerson of Gustine; her daughters, Gaye Allen of Granbury and Melinda Truitt of Colony; grandchildren, Shawn, Alice, Zachary, Holly and Matthew; and great grandchildren, Daniel, Kylee, Emma and Jaxon.
