Archie Bennett III 1963-2018

Archie Godfrey Bennett III was born Oct. 22, 1963, in New Orleans, La, where he lived most of his life.  He passed away at the age of 54 on Oct. 12, 2018, in Tyler. 

He was preceded in death by his parents, Archie Godfrey Bennett II and Alice Joan Boudin Bennett.

Mr. Bennett had been a resident of Canton for 17 years and was self-employed, working in remodeling and carpentry. He enjoyed music and loved to fish. He was a  member of the Texas Bass Mafia.

Survivors include his wife of 23 years, Karen Bennett of Canton; son and daughter-in-law, Davin and Heather Bennett of New Orleans; daughter and son-in-law, Mallory and Dylan Pitts of Canton; sister and brother-in-law, Connie and Darren Hernandez of Marrero; and three grandchildren, Mason, Sophia, and Madison.

A private family memorial service will be held for him at a later date and time.
