Albert Wise 1941-2018

Albert Lee Wise, 77, of Canton, passed away Sunday, Nov. 11, 2018, in Tyler.  He was born Feb. 5, 1941, in Canton to George and Mary Wise. 

He was a member of Oak Grove Baptist Church and the Castilian Lodge in Canton.  He was a lifelong resident of Canton except for the two years he served in the US Army and was stationed in Korea and Fort Leavenworth. 

He retired from Pet Technologies in Rockwall.  He was a forklift operator.  He enjoyed trapping hogs, looking after his cows and welding.

He is preceded in death by his parents; great-granddaughter, Ava Lee; and an aunt, Lois Hemby.

He is survived by his wife of 51 years, Judy, of Canton; son, Jeffrey Wise of Mabank; daughter, Kristie Wilhite of Canton; two granddaughters, Jessica and Zachary Melton and Haley Lynn Lee; great-granddaughter, Emory Elaine Killingworth; and two sisters, Billie and J.L. Peace of Canton and Sherry Essman of Mabank.

Pallbearers were Andy Wise, Jimmy Peace, Kerry Pyle, Don Giliam, Mark Wise and Jerry Ward.

Services were held Thursday, Nov. 15, 2018, at Oak Grove Baptist Church in Canton with Bro. Randy Crudgington officiating.  Interment was in Four Mile Cemetery.
