FBC Canton to hold toy giveaway

First Baptist Church Canton is will host "The Christmas Gift,” the church’s second annual toy giveaway, from 6 to 8 p.m., Friday, Dec. 14.

“Through the generous donations of our church family, we are planning to bring the joy of Christmas to families in our community.

 We would like to invite parents of children, age 10 and under, to come select a Christmas gift for your child (one gift per child).  Our goal is to show the love of Christ and make this the very best Christmas experience for those families in the midst of difficult times.  We hope this event blesses not only the children receiving the gifts but their families as well.   

 “The front doors to the Worship Center will open at 6 p.m. for the event. .  The gifts will be given out on a first-come basis while supplies last. 

 “We want to give a Christmas blessing to these families and show them the true meaning of Christmas,” said church officials.
