Chastain donates to Vets Memorial

Chairman of the VZC Veterans Memorial Board Ron Carroll accepts a $650 check from Kelly Chastain. Chastain is the owner of Boot Hill Restaurant and Dockside Cottages located on the top of the Hill across from Canton Trade Days. 
Chastain’s business has been collecting donations in a boot located on her counter from all her patrons which began in June and ran through Nov. 4. This year was the inaugural event and plans are to continue with the event in 2019 and beyond, said Chastain.
All donations collected were divided between the VZC Veterans Memorial and PTSD USA's Camp Hope in Houston “We would like to thank all of our customers and veterans. You all have a heart of gold,” said Chastain.
