Up in flames

A structure fire in the 1200 block of Woodland Street in Canton brought the Canton Fire Department, South Van Zandt and Whitton Volunteer Fire Department on scene to extinguish the blaze. The fire started around 2 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 2 and took approximately three hours to put out. Canton Police Department and Champion EMS were also on scene. As of presstime, no other information was available, and the fire remains under investigation.
