Eagles cap busy stretch with 4-2 mark
The Canton Eagles had their hands full last week, taking on Caddo Mills in non-district play before hitting the court five times over the course of three days at the Mewbourn Invitational Tournament in Martins Mill. Despite the heavy workload, Canton put together several strong performances against solid competition to finish the week with a 4-2 record overall.
The Eagles opened play against the Caddo Mills Foxes Dec. 11, riding a strong first half to a 56-42 win.
Colton Haley helped Canton set the tone against Caddo Mills, hitting for 16 points in the first half to help pilot the Eagles to a 33-20 lead after 16 minutes of play.
