Charles Jordan 1988-2018
A memorial service for Charles Andrew Jordan, 30, of Canton, was held Saturday, Dec. 29, 2018, at Crossroads Church in Canton. A private graveside service was held in Holly Springs Cemetery in Martins Mill.
He passed away Dec. 21, 2018, in Forney. He was born June 21, 1988, in Lawrenceville, Ga. to Charles Cooper Jordan and Hazel Lynn Howansky Jordan.
He was born in Georgia but grew up in East Texas. He was a follower of Jesus Christ and enjoyed meditating on God’s Word and listening to various genres of Christian music.
He enthusiastically enjoyed many activities including snowboarding, camping, mountain biking, hiking, traveling and cooking.
As a young adult he enjoyed martial arts and received his brown belt in Karate. He was also a music enthusiast.
He was a generous person and enjoyed helping people. He loved spending time with his family, especially his nieces and nephews.
He was a truss designer working at Steelway International for the past nine years.
He is survived by his mother, Hazel Lynn Jordan; father, Charles Cooper Jordan; brother, Peter and Ashley Jordan and their children, Pierson, Luke, Seth and Anna; sister, Norma and Cameron Reese and their children, Elijah, Ava and Gabriel; sister, Carolyn and Jonathan Reese and their children, Laurence and Wesley; and his dear friend, Kaity Parker.
Pallbearers were Peter Jordan, Cameron Reese, Jonathan Reese and Johnny Sawyer.
