Colton Burgett 1999-2018
Services for Colton York Burgett, 19, of Eustace were held Jan. 1, 2019, at Eubank Funeral Home in Canton with Bro. Dan Tarno and Bro. Randy Crudgington officiating.
He was born May 30, 1999. in Desoto to Michael York Burgett and Kimberly Dawn Bauman.
He passed away Dec. 27, 2018, in Dallas.
He was a lifelong fighter of Cerebral Palsy and Chronic Lung Disease. He graduated from Athens High School and played baseball and basketball in the Challenger League.
He enjoyed life to the fullest. He loved cuddling with his mom, watching football, going to the movies, music, racecars and mudding.
He is survived by his parents, Mike and Kim Burgett; sister, Hannah and Josh Streeter; brother, Aubrey and Brittany Thomasson; brother, Mike and Nikki Burgett Jr.; grandmother, Sharon Bauman; along with a host of other family and friends.
Colton is preceded in death by his grandfather, John Burgett; grandfather, Duane Bauman; and great-grandmother, Hazel Buzbee. Interment was at Haven of Memories in Canton.
Pallbearers were Mike Burgett Jr., Zach Gregory, Sam Welty, Lester Smith, Dakota Smith, Josh Streeter, Matt Calhoun, Aubrey Thomasson, Josh Gregory and Dylan Smith.
Honorary Pallbearers were Krista Bain, Roxanne Vaughn, Tamara Fegley, Mary Gordon, Dori Wall, Sheree Bunting, Christina Aldridge, Tammy Crowley, Tiffany Johnson, Sheila Cushenberry, Marci Mayhugh and A.J. Rippenkroeger.
