Naturalist Classes to begin Jan. 22

Openings in the 2019 East Texas Master Naturalist Classes are filling fast.  Spaces are limited, and applications are due now for the classes. Classes will be held from 6 to 9 p.m., Jan. 22, at the Tyler Nature Center, 11942 FM 848, Tyler, TX 75707.  

“If you are interested in learning more about Nature in East Texas and hope to help preserve the beauty found here, join us to experience experts in their field share their knowledge.  Classes cover topics from archeology to mammalogy and wetland and forest ecosystems and more.  Forty hours of life changing classes will be offered most Tuesday evenings through mid-April.  Tuition is $150 for more than 40 hours of environmental education and in-the-field instruction,” said organizers.
