Wednesday Study Club holds holiday meeting

The Wednesday Study Club enjoyed a Christmas luncheon at the Treasured Past Tea Room in Canton before the holidays in December. 

“The Tea Room was beautifully decorated, and the members and guests were served a delightful menu of goodies,” said a club spokesperson. 

President Sally Medley opened the meeting by greeting all the members and their guests. A short business session then followed. 

The rest of the event was given over to socializing and “Show and Tell.” Each member and guest had been asked to bring something special they would like to share with the group and explain why it was important to them.

The next meeting of the Wednesday Study Club will be held at 2 p.m., Wednesday, Jan. 23, at Bridge House, 590 Live Oak in Canton, where Betty Wilson will present a program entitled “On Norman Rockwell.”
