Fred Harrell 1942-2015
Services for Fred Harrell, 73, of Mabank are scheduled for 2 p.m. Saturday June 6, 2015, at Eubank Funeral Home in Canton with Bro. Dale Harrell officiating.
He passed away May 28, 2015, in Mabank after a long battle with mesothelioma.
Fred was born March 3, 1942, in Texas City to Odie and Clovis Harrell.
Fred grew up in Bryant Ark. where he attended school. He later graduated from Little Rock Tech in 1961. He joined the Army and served his country during the Vietnam War.
Fred was a collector of antique cars and model trains. He loved NASCAR and spending time at the lake with his family.
Fred is survived by his wife, Judy Harrell of Mabank; daughter, Conniesue and John Early of Searcy, Ark.; son, Tim and Christine Harrell of Searcy, Ark.; daughter, Roslind Smith of Visalia, Calif.; daughter, Nicole Mansker of Benton, Ark.; daughter, Amy and Darby Wright of Benton, Ark.; 12 grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; sister, Pat Harrell of Fort Worth; brother, Dale and Betty Harrell of Malvern, Ark.; brother, Jerry Harrell of Canton; and numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, and uncles.
He is preceded in death by his parents; son, Kenny Harrell and brother, Duncan Harrell.
Pallbearers will be Scott Harrell, Todd Harrell, Garry Harrell, Craig Harrell, Joey Peace, and John Mansker.
Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday, June 5, 2015, at the Eubank Funeral Home in Canton.
