Mr. Rasbury was born Sept. 9, 1948, in Terrell.

He was preceded in death by his father, Wilford Maurice Rasbury; stepfather, Charles Meeks; grandparents; four uncles; and two aunts.

Mr. Rasbury was a proud veteran of the Navy when he enlisted at the age of 17 and he served in Vietnam.

A private person who had the ability to befriend anyone, he was a personality that many people felt drawn to because of his honesty, integrity and his wonderful sense of humor.  Anyone who got to meet him knew exactly that they had found a friend for life in “Disco Mo” and his loyalty to the ones he cared about was unwavering and unquestioned.  He could also be a rebel knowing that sometimes, a different perspective can set folks and situations in a better light. He was very loved and will be forever missed by all who knew him.
