1947 – 2016

Kenneth Wayne Burden Sr., 68, died peacefully Jan. 18, 2016, with his loving family by his side.

He was born Aug. 16, 1947, in Midlothian to Gedra Allison Burden Sr. and Lillian Burden.

Mr. Burden was a loving father and grandfather who loved his children and grandchildren more than anything. He enjoyed spending every moment with his adoring family.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Gedra Burden Sr. and Lilian Burden; brothers, Victor Burden and Gedra Burden Jr.; and sister, Vergie Turnage.

Survivors include his children, Kenneth Wayne Burden Jr. and Dianne, Angel Martinez and Ted, Lisa McGrath and Marty; grandchildren, Amber, Ali, Baylee and Tiffany, Sydnee, Joe, Kate, and Eion, Hayley, Austin and Tiffany; great- grandchildren, Beth, Autumn, and Hayden; sisters, Fay Chandler, Frances Gulley, Wilma Hicks, Bobbie Turnage, Esther Crawford, Linda Dobbs, Rachel Green, and their spouses.

A memorial service was held at Eubank Funeral Home Jan. 22, 2016.
