The troop set up a great camp which also provided another award for best campsite, according to Leader Kevin Bradway. “This prepared group of Scouts with their multiple skill sets earned the award for best overall troop!” Bradway said.
The Scouts from Canton Boy Scout Troop 378 have won the district camporee the last four times they have attended.
Life skills, such as wilderness survival skills , STEM skills, leadership skills are learned in Scouting when combined with the many outdoor adventures that a troop pursues, Bradway said.
