‘Annie Get Your Gun’ opens July 8

The production of Rodgers and Hammerstein's musical, ‘Annie Get Your Gun’ will open July 8 with regular seating at 7:30 p.m. 

Other regular seating performances at the Talent Box, a nonprofit community theatre, 244 N. Fourth St., Wills Point are at 7:30 p.m. July 9 and at 2 p.m. July 10 and 17. 

Dinner theatre performances are at 6:30 p.m. July 15 and 16.  

Limited seating may be available during the dinner theatre performances.  A reception will be held after the opening night performance. 

Admission for this production is adults $15, seniors and students $13 and children 12 and under $10.  Dinner theatre admission is $22 per person with $15 for children 10 and under. 

Reservations are required and may be made by calling the theatre at 903-873-8945.  Leave your name, telephone number, date of performance you wish to attend and the number in your party.  Your call will be returned.  Tickets can be purchased online by visiting the website, www.talentbox.org, go to "Buy Tickets" and follow directions.
The story, ‘Annie Get Your Gun’ is a musical with lyrics and music by Irving Berlin and a book by Dorothy Fields and her brother Herbert Fields.  It is a fictionalized version of the life of Annie Oakley (1860-1926), a sharpshooter who starred in Buffalo Bill's Wild West, and her romance with sharpshooter Frank Butler.
