Mathea Guild hears about health, healing

Mathea Guild met Oct. 13 at the American National Bank. Ann Russell held the meeting in the absence of Guild President Rose Dearman.

Shirley McMahan introduced Barbara Perez and Wendy James as the guest speakers. “Perez gave us information on prescription costs and James spoke on healing our body with nutrition and the importance of exercise and nutrition for our body. Both speakers gave us very helpful information on how to make changes in our daily living,” Guild member said.

Refreshments were furnished by Rhita Koches and Pat Hammond.

The next meeting of Mathea Guild will be held at 10: 30 a.m. Nov. 10 at the Plaza Museum. Max Callahan will be the guest speaker.

Mathea Guild meetings are held the second Thursday of each month beginning in September and ending in May of each year.
