Services for Dianne Marie Byrd, 67, of Ben Wheeler were held Monday, Dec. 5, 2016, at Eubank Funeral Home in Canton with Bro. James Nickle and Bro. Bill Parr officiating.

Mrs. Byrd passed Nov. 30, 2016, in Tyler. She was born March 2, 1949, in Mt. Pleasant to Mart and Julia Freeman Barnett.

She grew up in Mt. Pleasant and graduated from Mt. Pleasant High School. She then attended Business College in Dallas. As a member of Highland Park Baptist Church in Mt. Pleasant, she was awarded the Assistant Degree in Rainbows.

While living in Dallas, she attended New Haven Baptist Church where she played piano for 30 years. She enjoyed playing golf, bowling, and fishing in her spare time. Her greatest love of all was spending time with her grandchildren and watching them play baseball. She has been a member of Little Hope Baptist Church for the last 12 years where she played piano and worked in the office.

She is survived by her husband of 48 years, Tom Byrd; son, Christopher and Shayna Byrd; granddaughter, Taylor Byrd; grandsons, Camden Rylan, and Nathan Byrd; brother, Gary and Kathy Barnett; Nieces, Crystal Bukasbe and Katyn Bukasbe; great-nieces and nephews: Lee Justice, Preston Morgan, McKenzie and Izaya.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Mart and Julia Barnett; and sister, Janice Bukasbe.

Interment was at Haven of Memories in Canton.
