Eaglettes finish second at Jackrabbit Invitational

Canton powerlifters traveled to Forney High School Feb. 18, competing at the 10^th annual Forney Jackrabbit Invitational. Canton’s girls team performed exceptionally well, finishing second overall in a field that included 17 schools. Eagle lifters also put together some strong performances, finishing 16^th out of 22 competing schools.

Individual girls results included:

-97 lb. weight class: Madison Baugh, first place, 455 lbs. lifted

-114 lb. weight class: Ashley Riffe, second place; 515 lbs. lifted

-123 lb. weight class: Carla Perez, first place, 540 lbs. lifted; Brynna Mackling, bombed out

-132 lb. weight class: Evie Davis, 11th place, 455 lbs. lifted

-148 lb. weight class: Patricia Hernandez, seventh place, 640 lbs. lifted; Kylee Crist, 11th place, 545 lbs. lifted; Sydney Ellis, 12^th place, 485 lbs. lifted; Kelly Egan, 13^th place, 480 lbs. lifted
