The big four
Vince Lombardi and John Wooden were the best at their professions. We still study what they did and how they did it. Both told us to become masters of the fundamentals. Doctor Oz was asked how he became so successful in doing so many things and he said “I have figured out that every endeavor you do has a few vital functions and all you have to do is figure out what they are and become excellent at them.”
There are four vital functions to live a healthy and happy life. Two are fuels we all must have and two are functions we all must do, or we will die. Each of them are important to our overall health and wellness and we should strive to become excellent at each of them.
WATER. Drink more water and less sugar drinks every day. Drink more water and hardly any sugar drinks every day. Drink more water and no sugar drinks every day. Join me and become excellent at vital function number one. Let’s call it WA.
FOOD. Eat six or more fresh or frozen fruits and veggies and nuts every day, and eat or snack on them more than three times each day. The combination of lots of water and smaller helpings will become a habit and will help you to replace junk food intake. You will also eat less and less every day. Join me and become excellent at vital function number two. Let’s call it FO.
