Eagle netters compete at Jerry Slayton Invitational

The Canton tennis team stayed busy over the course of spring break, participating in this year’s Jerry Slayton Tournament in Van March 17.
The Canton Eagle tennis team stayed in county over this year's Spring Break, traveling to Van March 17 to compete in the annual Jerry Slayton Invitational.
Canton's doubles teams enjoyed an excellent afternoon, taking home two second and two third place finishes at the event.
The mixed doubles team of AJ Henderson and Shaylee Watson finished second overall in their division, and the boys doubles team of Riley Nicks and Sammy Watson did the same in their division.
Bradley Shanks and Ivan Nelson finished in third place overall in boys doubles, and Maddie Welty and Ashley Wood finished in third place overall in girls doubles.
