Services for Faye W. Stewart, 80, of Canton, will be held at a later date.

Interment will be at Haven of Memories Memorial Park in Canton under the direction of Allan Fuller Funeral Home in Wills Point.

Mrs. Stewart passed away Friday, Sept. 1, 2017, at her home in Canton.

She was born Feb. 18, 1937, in Canton to Harden and Lou Wilhite. She was raised in Canton and graduated from Canton High School in 1954. Shortly after graduation, in August 1954, she married Bill Allred in Wills Point. They lived in Wills Point, where she was a realtor at Allred Real Estate, a substitute teacher at Wills Point ISD and a Cub Scout leader.

She played bridge, golfed and spent as much time as possible with her sisters, Gay Mitchell and Jeri Sullivan.

She married W.L. “Bill” Stewart, June 3, 1978, and they made their home in Seabrook. She volunteered at Seabrook ISD, where she helped children with their reading skills until 2010. In 2013, they moved to Canton to be close to family.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Harden and Lou Wilhite; and a brother-in-law, Charles Mitchell.

She is survived by her husband, William L. “Bill” Stewart, of Canton; son, William Bryan “Bill” Allred and wife, Frankie of Bullard; daughter, Julie Jenkins and husband, Lanny of Canton; sisters, Gay Mitchell of Canton and Jeri Sullivan and husband, Jerry of Canton; five grandchildren, Katrina Barnes, Candace Arnold and husband, Wade, Diana Barton, Donna Barton and Daniel Barton; six great-grandchildren, Kolter Wade Arnold, Alyssa Fleet, Amber Ramirez, Lauren Barton, Destiny Barton and J.J. Barton; and

friends, Nelda and Allen Lee, Marty and Richard Bullock and Ed and Martha Carrillo.
