CHS Class of ’78 holds 40-year reunion

The Class of 1978 at Canton High School held its 40th Class Reunion on April 21.

“There was a great turn out and everyone had a lot of fun catching up with each other. With the funds collected, the Class of 1978 was able to purchase a brick from the Van Zandt Veterans Memorial in honor of all our military classmates; a high school senior was presented a $1,000 scholarship to help further their education; and a bench was purchased in honor of our classmates who have passed away. This bench is located at the high school and is pictured with some high school students. We would like to thank all our classmates for being so generous!” said reunion organizers.
