VZC Country Club hosting Toy Drive
The Van Zandt Country Club is hosting a “Wine, Dine and Shop” Toy Drive event from 6 to 9 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 13.
“The Toy Drive is just one small way to bring Christmas to hundreds of children in Van Zandt County through our local Child Advocacy Center and Child Welfare Board,” said organizers.
“The Van Zandt Country Club is hosting this event to help give back to our community while offering dining and shopping with local vendors. There will be over a dozen vendors offering an array of items to purchase. There will be baked goods, candies, seasoned pecans, several jewelry collections, nightshirts, Morenci candles, Scentsy, wreaths, home décor, women’s clothing, children clothing and accessories, bath soaps & salts, handcrafted albums, embroidered holiday dish towels and baby items and much more. The event is open to the public,” said organizers.
All participating vendors have been asked to bring an unwrapped toy valued at $20 to participate in the event. The Van Zandt Country Club will be collecting toys from its members and the general public throughout the month. Those attending the event are also invited to bring an unwrapped toy to help meet these needs.
