Mr. Blue Shoes entertained the children attending the summer reading program.

Mr. Blue Shoes entertained the children that attended the final summer reading program at the library on July 24, 2015.

Mr. Blue Shoes had some of the children join him in dancing while he introduced them to the blues on his electric guitar.  Some of the dance moves were wiggle, wiggle, jump, raise your hands, turn around and touch the ground, which caused much laughter, library staff members said.

The “Adult and Young Adult Reading Challenge” was a great success.  The drawing winner was Charity Cosgrove.  Story Writing Contest results were; first place, J.J. Collett and Khloe Fraizer who collaborated on a story about a superhero; second place was Landon Reid and honorable mention went to Alafair Burke.  All the “Every Hero has a Story Contest” entries are on display in the library.  The Summer reading program grand prize winner was Savannah Littfack who chose an American Girl doll and accessories.
