Services for Elisa Brown, 48, of Jacksonville, were held Friday, Feb. 16, 2018, at Silver Lake Baptist Church with Bro. Donnie Herring officiating under the direction of Bartley Funeral Home, Grand Saline.

Interment was in Silver Lake Cemetery.

She passed away Feb. 14, 2018, in Tyler.  She was born March 3, 1969 to Reagan and Wanda Adams Sharp.

Lester Anderson Jr. 1947-2018

 

 

 

Services for Lester Haynes "Teddy" Anderson Jr., 70, of Grand Saline,were held Tuesday, Feb. 20, 2018, at Bartley Funeral Home with Bro. David Yarbrough officiating. Interment was in Woodside Cemetery.

He passed away Feb. 18, 2018 in a Grand Saline nursing home. He was born Dec.21, 1947, in Grand Saline, to Lester Haynes and Bessie Mae Miller Anderson.

Jimmie Webb 1929-2018

 

 

Services for Jimmie Mac Webb, 88, of Mabank were held Saturday Feb. 17, 2018, at Jackson Baptist Church of Canton with Bro. Butch Cunningham officiating. Interment was held at Haven of Memories Memorial Park in Canton.

He passed away on Feb. 13, 2018, in Tyler and into the bosom of her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, then into the waiting arms of her beloved husband, Melvin Webb, who would have been 95 this same day.

She was born on Dec. 13, 1929, in Honey Grove to Jeff and Grace Southerland. She was a member of Jackson Baptist Church.

George Schaaf 1937-2018

 

George Allen Schaaf, 80, of Killeen passed away on Sunday Feb. 11, 2018. He was born Nov. 17, 1937 in Chicago, Ill. to Julia Schaaf and George Schaaf.

He was enlisted in the Air Force and went on to retire as an air traffic controller within the civil service. He served in the Killeen Fire Department as a Volunteer Fireman for 25 years. He was a Texas Freemason.

He made many friends during his 57 years of residency in Killeen. He was a regular in the coffee crowd for over 50 years at all of the regular places; The Brown Derby Café, Chess's Restaurant, Henderson's, and finally at The Hallmark Restaurant.

Anna Tarpley 1928-2018

Services for Anna J. Tarpley, 89, of Wills Point were held Tuesday Feb. 13, 2018 at Eubank Funeral Home with Bro. Mike Roberson officiating. She was laid to rest by her husband in Randolph.

She passed away peacefully from this earth to her heavenly home on Feb 10, 2018 at Baylor Medical Center. She was born Feb. 26, 1928 in Bells to D.T. and Leta Morgan McElligott.

She married the love of her life, Wilson H. Tarpley, on July 23, 1955 in Bells. They shared 42 wonderful years together before his passing in 1997.

She is also preceded in death by her parents; brothers, Dan McElligott and Jimmy McElligott; and sister, Lois Everheart.

She passed away Feb.5, 2018, in Grand Saline.  She was born April 21, 1921, in Kaufman County to Alanzo and Viola Sharp.

Lela Jo Hawkins 1933-2018

 

Services for Lela Jo Hawkins, 84, of Canton, were held Tuesday, Feb. 13, 2018, at the Eubank Funeral Chapel in Canton with Bro. Dan Tarno and Bro. Mark Robinson officiating. Interment was in Haven of Memories.

She passed away Saturday, Feb. 10, 2018, in Canton. She was born June 2, 1933 in the Jackson Community to Gordon Kellis and Linnie V. Wyatt Malone.
She retired from the Garland School District after 23 years. She also worked for Gold Star Assisted Living in Canton for six years.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Kellis and Linnie Malone; her husband, Troy “Shorty” Hawkins; and a brother, Jarrell Malone.

June Leo Good Forbing, beloved mother, grandmother, great grandmother and sister, 82, of Canton, passed away peacefully Friday, Feb 9, 2018 in Athens after a brief illness.

She was born on Oct 19, 1935 to Henry and Ethel Good in Emporia, Kan.

Jarrell Malone 1935-2018

 

 

 

Funeral service for Jarrell Hugh Malone, age 82, of Brashear was held Thursday, Feb. 8, 2018 in the Spence Chapel at First Baptist Church, Sulphur Springs, with Rev. Bruce Stinson, Rev. Tommy Hall, and Rev. Dan Tarno officiating. Mr. Malone passed away on Monday, Feb. 5, 2018 at his home, surrounded by loved ones.

He was born on Oct. 28, 1935 in Van Zandt County, the son of Gordon and Linnie Malone. He married Wanda Petty on May 20, 1955 in Brashear. She preceded him in death, in 2008.

He was a retired truck driver, a member of the Sulphur Springs Masonic Lodge #221, and a Master Mason for over 50 years. He was a member of Central Baptist Church.

Gina Neusch 1962-2018

Annette Sullivan Neusch, aka Eunice, Mama Neusch, Master of Reflexology, and Sergeant Crow, 55 years old of Canton went to Heaven on Feb. 10, 2018. A celebration of Gina's Life Memorial was held Tuesday, Feb. 13, 2018, at the Driven Life Church in Canton.

She was known for her giving heart, funny sense of humor, and creative mind. Her big personality made everyone she met remember her. Volunteering at many churches, dedicating time to Boy Scouts, performing reflexology, supporting Canton Eagle band were a few highlights of her life. She genuinely cared about others.
