Carter Winston Clark, Jr. age 67, passed away peacefully at Crestwood Nursing Center, Wills Point, on Aug. 28, 2018.

He was born to the late Carter Sr. and Laura Clark on Aug. 30, 1950 in Dallas.

Funeral Services for Billy Dean Miller of Chandler were held Saturday, Sept. 15, 2018, at the Chandler Memorial Funeral Home Chapel in Chandler with Rev. Bob Logan officiating.     

He passed away on Sept. 15, 2018, in Tyler.

Ann Stone, 88, of Terrell passed away in Fort Worth on Aug. 10, 2018. She was born in Shawnee, Okla. on March 19, 1930, the daughter of Oscar Ray and Ellie (Green) Foster. She married Henry Stone and he preceded her in death.  

Carson Alexander McDonald, Sr., passed away peacefully while surrounded by his adoring family at his home in Dallas on Aug. 14, 2018, after a courageous 20-month battle with brain cancer.

He was born Jan. 15, 1960 in Dallas.

Services for Freda Morphis, 73, of Canton, were held Tuesday, Aug. 21, 2018, at the Eubank Funeral Home in Canton with Jim Leach officiating. Interment was in High Cemetery.

She passed away Aug. 19, 2018 in Canton. She was born Feb. 8, 1945, in Disney, KY to Clark Hall and Sarah E. Presley. 

She was a Baptist by faith and a nurses aid for over 20 years. She loved spending time with her children and grandchildren, sewing, feeding wild birds, and working with the children in the nursery of First United Methodist Church in Canton.

Lora Ruth Hardin of Blue, formerly of Canton, passed away Aug. 9, 2018, in her home on the “Wright Place” in Lee County at the age of 93 years. 

A memorial service was held Sunday, Aug. 19, at Eubanks Funeral Home Chapel in Canton. 

She was born in Onalaska on July 17, 1925 to Lemual Austin McPhail and wife Minie Pearl Johson McPhail and later moved near Canton.

Services for R.T. Hopson, 85, of Canton were held Saturday Aug. 15, 2018 at Eubank Funeral Home in Canton. Interment was at Haven of Memories Memorial Park in Canton.

He passed away on Aug. 13, 2018 peacefully at his home in Canton.

He was born on Nov. 7, 1932 in LaRue to Lee and Lois Gideon Hopson.

Graveside services for Judy Rush Moss, 58, of Mineola, were held Saturday, Aug. 25, 2018, at Starr Cemetery with Bro. Jim Parker, Bro. Andrew McQueen, and Bro. Homer Morgan officiating under the direction of Bartley Funeral Home, Grand Saline.
She passed away Aug. 22, 2018, in Tyler. She was born July 1, 1960, in Grand Saline to Finis Ray and Madaline McBride Rush.

Robert (Bob) Blakeborough, 82, of Wills Point, passed away on Saturday, Aug. 18, 2018. He was born on Dec. 5, 1935, in Minneapolis, Minn., to parents Floyd Blakeborough and Margaret Keogh.

He graduated from Edina High School and served in the US Army. On Aug. 13, 1960, he married Nancy Ann Zetzman at St. Peters Catholic Church in Richfield, Minn.

Services for Paul Dean Pruitt, 82, of Canton were held Monday Aug. 6, 2018, at Eubank Funeral Home in Canton with Bro Paul Fike officiating. Graveside services were held at Haven of Memorial Park in Canton. He passed away on Aug. 2, 2018, in Tyler.

He was born on June 15, 1936 in DeLeon to Lee Pruitt and Pauline Cozby.
