Charles Erickson

1933-2017

A memorial service for Charles Raymond Erickson, 83, of Canton, will be held at 1 pm Friday, March 3, 2017 at Lakeside Baptist Church with Bro. Carlton Young officiating, under the direction of Eubank Funeral Home.

He passed away Feb. 25, 2017 in Tyler. He was born Nov. 29, 1933, in Phoenix, Ariz., to William H. and Florence Therese Wilson Erickson.

Aneta Golden

1938-2017

Memorial services for Aneta Rose Golden, 79, of Athens, were held Monday, Feb. 27, 2017, at the Eubank Funeral Home in Canton with Bro. Lynn Mullins officiating.

Mrs. Golden passed away Feb. 23, 2017, in Athens. She was born Jan. 27, 1938, in Canton to Carlton and Johnnie Mae Hallmark Flatt.

Robert Haddaway

1937-2017

Robert (Bob) Haddaway, 80, of Wills Point, was born Jan. 11, 1937, in Baltimore, Md. to Homer and Georgia Owen Haddaway. His family moved to Miami, Fla. when he was a teenager. He graduated from Miami Edison High School in 1955. He married Janice Elizabeth Cottrell July 27, 1957.

Raymond Earl Potter

1944-2017

Services for Raymond Earl Potter, 72, Canton, are scheduled for Saturday, Feb. 25, 2017, at Roundflat Pentecostal Church with Bro. Homer Morgan and Bro. Randy Sadler officiating under the direction of Bartley Funeral Home.

Interment will be in Shirley Cemetery, Sulphur Springs.

Mr. Potter passed away Feb. 10, 2017, in Canton.

Amber Michelle Osburn

1993-2017

Memorial services for Amber Michelle Osburn, 23, of Canton, were held Saturday, Feb. 18, 2017, at Eubank Funeral Home with Matt Porter officiating. She passed away Feb. 10, 2017, in Rockport.

She was born Dec. 17, 1993, in Dallas to Sherry Lyn Berryhill.

She grew up in Canton and graduated from the Ranch Academy. She loved to go dancing, four wheeling, and spending time with friends and family.

She is preceded in death by her sister, Ashley Bishop; and grandmother, Frances Long.

She is survived by her mother, Sherry Osburn; son, Lane Osburn; brothers, Mark Crouch and Troy Perkins; grandfather, Bobby Long; uncle, David Long; aunt, Gloria Rodriguez; and stepfather, Jimmy Hines.

Michael Wayne Williams

1957-2017

Graveside services for Michael Wayne Williams, 59, of Whitehouse, were held Tuesday, Feb. 14, 2017, at Haven of Memories Memorial Park in Canton under the direction of Eubank Funeral Home.

Mr. Williams passed away early Saturday, Feb. 11, 2017, in Tyler.

He was born March 27, 1957, in Tyler to D.G. “Hoss” Williams and Bobbie Jean Webb Williams.

He grew up in Canton. He lived in California while serving in the Army but returned to Texas in 1996.

Julia Bering

1926-2017

Julia Loughmiller Bering, 90, of Bellaire, passed away Feb. 1, 2017. She was a loving wife, mother and friend. She was born in Wills Point and grew up in Canton.

Joel Ethan Dockery

1973-2017

Funeral services for Joel Ethan Dockery, 43, of Wills Point were held Friday, Feb. 10 , 2017, at Lakeside He passed away Feb. 6, 2017, in Tyler. A graveside service was held Saturday, Feb. 11, 2017, at East View Memorial Cemetery in Vernon.

He was born Aug. 13, 1973, in Freeport to Thomas Gene Dockery and Wanda Marie Barnes.

He graduated from North Side High School in Vernon. He was a strong Christian man who lived his life serving others. He had a great love for God and his family. He enjoyed traveling across the country in his truck, fishing, and helping people in need.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Hubert and Alene Barnes, and Orville and Marie Dockery.

Donna Kay Dandridge

1963-2017

A private memorial service will be held at a later date for Donna Kay Dandridge, 53, of Chandler, Miss. Dandridge was born May 2, 1963, and passed away Jan. 21, 2017.

In lieu of burial, her wishes were that her remains be placed on her favorite mountain in Wyoming.

She was raised in Canton by her mother, Patricia Patrick Paris and stepfather, Ed Paris, and attended Canton High School. She lived in Canton and Arkansas before moving to Wyoming to be near her brother, Richard. She later returned to Chandler.

She enjoyed cooking, and arts and crafts. She was very family oriented and spent most of her time with her family. She loved spoiling her grandchildren.

Avis Christeen Stegall

1922-2017

Graveside services for Avis Christeen Stegall, 94, of  Canton were held Saturday, Feb. 4, 2017, at Haven of Memories Memorial Park in Canton. Mrs. Stegall passed away Feb. 1, 2017, in Wylie.

She was born June 8, 1922, in the Rock Hill Community to Robie and Tessie Easley.

She was a member of Tundra Baptist Church and lived in Canton for many years.

She is preceded in death by her parents, and husband, Durward Stegall.

Survivors include her son, Don and Jeannette Fagg; daughter, Barbara Natiello; six grandchildren; and numerous great-grandchildren.
