Services for B.W. Ward, 86, of Canton, were held March 29, 2017, at the First Baptist Church in Canton with Pastor Mike Roberson officiating under the direction of Eubank Funeral Home.

Interment was in Haven of Memories.

He passed away Sunday, March 26, 2017, in Canton.

 He was born Sept. 24, 1930 in the China Grove Community to Walter E. and Ora Belle Morris Ward.

Amalee Kibbey

1929-2017

Amalee Grady Kibbey, 88, was born  Jan. 28, 1929 in Danville, Ark. and joined her beloved husband “Buddy” in the Kingdom of Heaven on March 24, 2017.

She was fondly known by many names to her friends and family as Mama Kibbey, Pooch, Aunt Amalee, Mi Mi and Mom.

Velma Williams

1938-2017

Velma Lee Williams, 78, of Canton passed away Sunday, March 19, 2017, in Tyler. She was born Sept. 9, 1938, in Dallas to William Henry and Martha Lee Rogers Brooks.

Ken Darcey

1936-2017

Graveside services for Ken Darcey, 80, of Fruitvale, were held Tuesday, March 21, 2017, at Tyler Memorial Park with Bro. Mitch Curtis and Les Darcey officiating under the direction of Bartley Funeral Home, Grand Saline.

Mr. Darcey passed away March 15, 2017, in Grand Saline.  He was born Nov. 29, 1936.

Billy Singleton

1936-2017

Services for Billy Dan Singleton were held Tuesday, March 21, 2017, at Haven of Memories in Canton.

He was born in Canton on March 15, 1936, to parents Joe Frank Singleton and Kassie Singleton.

He passed away on March 18, 2017, in Tyler.

He was raised in Canton and attended Canton schools. He was employed by the Murrey Motor Company in Wills Point for some 38 years.

William Dollgener

Memorial services for William “Beau” Alec Dollgener, 44, of Canton, were held Wednesday, March 8, 2016, at Eubank Funeral Home with Max Callahan officiating.

Mr. Dollgener passed away Saturday March 4, 2017 in Canton.

He was born Jan. 26, 1973, in Dallas to William Lynn Dollgener and Oneida Helen Gamon.

Sharla Deen

Memorial service for Sharla Kay Bray Deen, 50, of Kemp was held Friday, March 10, 2017 at Allan Fuller Funeral Home Chapel in Wills Point. 

She passed away early Tuesday morning, March 7, 2017, in Seven Points, due to a car accident.

She was born Oct. 19, 1966, in Lubbock, the daughter of Jim and Pat Bray. 

Robert Conway, Sr.

Services for Robert Clayton Conway Sr., 94, of Canton were held March 11, 2017, at Canton Church of Christ in Canton.

Graveside services were held at Wesley Chapel Cemetery in Canton.

He passed away on March 8, 2017, in Canton.

Kathy Owles

Services for Kathy Sue Adams Owles, 66, of Grand Saline, were held Thursday, March 9, 2017, at Silver Lake Cemetery with Bro. Mike Sullivan officiating.

She passed away March 5, 2017, in Grand Saline.  She was born Feb. 2, 1951, in Van Zandt County to Neely and Agnes Armstrong Adams.

James McGahee

1920-2017

James Herman McGahee was born June 19, 1920 in Alba and passed away March 9, 2017 in Wylie. Mr. McGahee is survived by his wife, Garland McGahee; his daughters, Kathy Bullock, Patricia Macavanagh and Sandra Jones; and a son, James H. McGahee, Jr. Funeral service was held Monday, March 13, 2017 at the Restland Memorial Chapel.
