Services for Robert “Bob” Thomas Mobley were held Monday, April 10, 2017, at Greenwood

Funeral Home Chapel in Arlington.

Burial followed at the Dallas-Fort Worth National Cemetery. Mr. Mobley passed away peacefully on April 2, 2017, in San Angelo.

He was born in McAlester, Okla. on Feb.17, 1929, to the late Alfred and Allie Mobley.

Graveside services for Rebecca Mae “Becky” Cannon, 73, of Grand Saline, were held Thursday, April 6, 2017 at Colfax Cemetery under the direction of Bartley Funeral Home.

Mrs. Cannon passed away April 4, 2017 in Grand Saline.  She was born December 21, 1943 in Dallas.

Paul Anthony Parkins was born July 7, 1971, in Toledo, Ohio. 

He had been a resident of Edgewood for eight years, formerly living in the Dallas area and Georgia. 

He began his career in transportation logistics for mail order Honey Hams in Atlanta.  After self-training, he worked for Ballentine Co./Wilmington Trust in Atlanta as an IT specialist. 

 In Georgia, he served as the president of Buckhead Rotaract Club from 2001-2003.  After moving to Texas, he worked for Billingsley Real Estate in Carrolton.  Separate from the corporate world, he was an entrepreneur, working with Green Horizons, an online, pre-paid electric company.

She passed away March 20, 2017, in Harvest, Ala.  She was born March 15, 1932, in Wills Point to the late Clyde W. and Mary Bateman.

Grace Lucille Page Smithart Shipman went to be with the Lord on April 3, 2017.

She was born in Canton to Gordon and Kathleen Page on Jan. 26, 1932.

She is survived by two daughters, Elaine Newsome of Spring and Edith and Tom Raney of Denton; grandchildren, Kaleb and April Garcia and Jennea and Brandon Mangum; four great-grandchildren; two brothers, Charles Page of Canton and Tom and Christine Page of Whitehouse; one sister-in-law, Gay Page; and numerous nieces, nephews and friends.

Russell Alan Rogers passed away March 29, 2017, in Waco.

He was born Sept. 24, 1961, in Odessa to Richard and Joyce Rogers.

He is preceded in death by his grandparents, Joe David and Maxine Rasure of Dike, Ennis and Mildred Rogers of Odessa; and brother, Ricky Rogers of Canton.

Survivors include his wife, Deborah and son, Zechariah Grayson Rogers of McGregor; daughter, Bria Danie’Le Rogers of Duncanville; mother, Joyce Rogers of Canton; and father, Richard Rogers of Weatherford.

A memorial service will be held at 10:30 a.m. at College Avenue Baptist Church, Saturday, April 8.

Randy Nix (Freddy Randal (Deckelman) Cory), 71, passed away March 13, 2017, at his home in Guymon, Okla.

Visitation and memorial services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday, April 8, 2017, at Eubanks Funeral home in Canton.

Mr. Nix was laid to rest at Cana Cemetery in Canton.

Services for Randall "Randy" Kirkpatrick were held Saturday, April 1, 2017, at Hilliard Funeral Home with Ronnie Daniell officeating.  A graveside service was held at Colfax Cemetery, Van Zandt County.  He was born Jan. 19, 1949, in El Campo, Wharton County.  He served in the U.S. Army from 1966-1969 as a medical specialist in Germany during the Vietnam War.  He was a member of Sand Flat Missionary Baptist Church.

Miles Lee King, 66, of Canton went to be with his Lord and Savior Sunday, March 19, 2017, at his residence. 

Memorial services celebrating Mhis’ life will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, April 8, 2017, at Whitton Church of Christ with Minister David Fretwell officiating. 

Reception will immediately follow at the Whitton Community Center.

He was born April 6, 1950, in Cameron County, Texas.  He is the son of Joan King and the late MD King.  As an Air Force family, they lived near many bases in Texas throughout his youth.  He graduated from High School in Houston.
