Services for J W Chaney, 88, of Martins Mill were held Friday, Nov. 16, 2018, at Eubank Funeral Home in Canton. He passed away Nov. 11, 2018, in Tyler.

He was born Jan. 10, 1930, at home in Martins Mill to Sephar Ahi Chaney and Wilmer Perkins.

He lived in Martins Mill his whole life and graduated from Martin Mill High School. He served his country in the Korean Conflict with the Army.

Glenna Elden Reckart was born May 24, 1943, in Grafton, West Virginia to the late Stanley Elden and Glenna Dale Cobun Reckart. 

She attended school in Morgantown, West Virginia; Grand Saline, and graduated from high School in Cleveland, Ohio. 

She worked for the Social Security Administration for 34 years and was retired through Civil Service Annuity. 

David E. "Dave" Lutzinger of Canton passed away on Monday afternoon, Oct. 22, 2018, at the age of 71.  He was born in Pittsburgh, Pa. on April 16, 1947 to James and Dorothy Lutzinger. 

Growing up in Florida, he moved to Texas after serving in the United States Air Force. 

Graduating with a degree in Business from the University of Texas at Dallas, he worked as a Service Manager in various companies for many years in Dallas before moving to Canton for retirement. 

Albert Lee Wise, 77, of Canton, passed away Sunday, Nov. 11, 2018, in Tyler.  He was born Feb. 5, 1941, in Canton to George and Mary Wise. 

He was a member of Oak Grove Baptist Church and the Castilian Lodge in Canton.  He was a lifelong resident of Canton except for the two years he served in the US Army and was stationed in Korea and Fort Leavenworth. 

He retired from Pet Technologies in Rockwall.  He was a forklift operator.  He enjoyed trapping hogs, looking after his cows and welding.

Services for Judy Martin, 68, of Canton were held Thursday, Oct. 11, 2018, at Eubank Funeral Home in Canton. Interment was at Old Bethel Cemetery in Canton. She passed away on Oct. 6, 2018, in Canton. She was born on June 18, 1950, in Wills Point to James and Frances Golden Chitty.

Jacqueline “Jackie” Storey-Erskine passed away surrounded by family at Kindred Hospital on Oct. 11, 2018, in Sugar Land, at the age of 70.

She had been suffering from numerous health issues over the last several years but is now at peace with our Lord and Savior.

Services for Helen Helen Reeves McGuffey Rushing were held Monday, Oct. 15, 2018, at Hilliard Funeral Home. Burial was follow at Fairway Garden of Memories Cemetery in Van.

She was born July 9, 1922 in Mexia.

Buck Duane Lide, 83, of Nederland passed away on Wednesday, Oct. 3, 2018. He was born in Canton on Nov. 18, 1934, to the late Thomas Hiram Lide and Ruth E. Phillips Lide.

In 1954, he graduated from Canton High School before moving to Port Arthur where he worked as an iron worker for Texaco for over 40 years before retiring.

Archie Godfrey Bennett III was born Oct. 22, 1963, in New Orleans, La, where he lived most of his life.  He passed away at the age of 54 on Oct. 12, 2018, in Tyler. 

He was preceded in death by his parents, Archie Godfrey Bennett II and Alice Joan Boudin Bennett.

Services for Amon Willard Brunson, 88, of Canton were held Saturday, Oct. 13, 2018, at Eubank Funeral Home in Canton with Bro. Randy Crudgington officiating. Interment was at Myrtle Springs Cemetery. He passed away Oct. 9, 2018, in Dallas.

He was born Jan. 19, 1930, in Crisp to Willard Hemon Brunson and Nancy Ella Gay.
